Politics

What you as a politician can do

  • Be a good politician: If you have the privilege to be or potentially become a politician within a modern, peaceful and innovative democratic country, identify and focus on the most important problems and on the best opportunities. Provide efficient and effective, innovative solutions, based on hearty effort and intelligence, instead of empty words, empty promises, and sticking too much to the past. Sure, many traditions or other old things like natural treasures are useful and nice, but also new things are often even nicer and, most importantly, sometimes simply necessary (e.g. when a resource becomes scarce, the air too polluted, people too unhappy, or the like). Don't develop or support those with fascist tendencies and a likelihood towards solving problems with brutal force, as this might foster intrastate and interstate conflicts and suboptimal solutions.
